Origami Walrus Instructions

It is the :iconwalrusplz: ...but it is not the :iconeggmanplz: (I can't believe there's a plz for that)

I am bizzarely happy with this design. I have seen very few origami walruses floating around, so I guess happening accross a decent one on the way to a Triceratops isn't too bad. I'm also thinking that some of the tricks employed may help to fix the narwhal boat issue...hmmm.

A note on difficulty
I'm going to start using the low/high methods of indicating difficulty relative to "intermediate." Otherwise all my designs are a sea of "intermediate" and don't indicate well which are easier than others. This one is "low intermediate", which on my scale is not too far away from "easy." It has two mildly tricky folds, nothing horrible though.

Usage Policy
To me this design is not very complicated, so I would expect that other people have happened across similar to nearly identical patterns. However, I did develop this myself and therefore hope that my choice of details is at least somewhat unique. If you follow this tutorial to create a walrus and wish to post the result as artwork either here or elsewhere, please credit the design you used to create the model.

Step 7. Halp.

Still, this looks pretty awesome, once I work out that one step. Thanks for posting this :D I'm sure I'll figure it out.
