Hello everyone! I think it's about time I made another journal here.

So we're now a good way past the 100 members marker (WOOT! WOOT!) and I think it's about time we had some contests for the group.

Unfortunately I still need to organize one and figure out prizes and such with the other admins. News of it should be coming up pretty soon though.

But why the journal title then? Where's the contest?

Here's one for you: PixelRaccoon happens to be hosting a contest themselves. What you have to do is write up a Don't Starve campfire song (singing along too if you want). For more information on this contest you should definitely check their journal.

Mod commission - Don't Starve TogetherI'm offering a Don't Starve Together character mod commission to anyone who fits my requirements!
I'm much more of an artist than a programmer, so I can set up basic characters with simple features, but I can't go in very custom details. I do not yet know how to code custom objects, nor custom sounds, I will first practice coding plain characters! Note that it may take a while to finish the whole mod, I may discuss this in private.
The things I can/can't do will be listed down there;

In-game character art: Starts at 60$ (Depend on how complicated visually. Know that there is more than 160 drawings to make.) You NEED to send me references.
The character portrait: Starts at 20$ (With and without name, this includes the in-game setup for both portraits and names.) You can give me your own portraits for free! As long as you incorporate it to the frame with the name.

Jujubomber, sigh-yuh, LeeanTrancy, GlassCatfish and Splashpaws - consider reading the front-page comments of this group. Artwork submission issues have been around for more than a year. Certain pieces of art are accepted but most artworks are completely ignored.

Hello! This issue has indeed been going on for a while, and I'd like to change the settings to automatically accept submissions, but I currently am not authorised to do so. Unfortunately, I myself am not very active on DeviantArt any more. I'll try to get in touch with the founder, for now!

lmao i submitted work like a week ago and came here to see if anyone was having the same problem (in which they're never accepted) and it turns out that yes I was right and this group is awful
