Back of pendant SpiralBurr. The cord passes through a central opening that makes it easier to thread the cord. Currently, the cord also passes through a bone bead sitting in the opening; the bead has a flat side which is toward the body of the pendant, which sets it at the correct height to provide a controlled friction on the cord.

I like to make the backs of my pendants as good as the fronts, or at least nice to look at. It's not a strict policy, but I manage it pretty often.
