This is nice! It took me a moment to realise you can, indeed, drill straight through them instead of in a bend.
What a nice material this is; it's shiny like bronze or red copper! Weighing a lot less though, I take it.

Thank you. I do sometimes drill two holes from opposite ends, at an angle to each other, meeting in the middle, if a bead is _very_ bent.

It is a beautiful material, indeed, and much lighter than metal. I made some walking sticks from manzanita branches which I need to get photos of.
