Necklace of selected found wood branch pieces, trimmed and converted to beads, plus two commercial wood beads.
Beeswax finish; widest bead about 2-1/2 inches wide.

You really have a fine sense of composition and an eye for what works in shapes and coloring. Very beautiful, Don.

I've been searching for the right dead branches of Pacific Madrona (Arbutus menziesiia, a cousin to manzanita) to add to my planted aquarium lately. So these pieces of found wood inspire me to keep looking until I locate them. I'll bet you weren't expecting that kind of response to your natural jewelry. LOL

Your works also remind me of a favorite artist: Morris Graves.
