This was a self-challenge to pick up a wood chip and start carving. India ink and walnut ink staining, hand-rubbed beeswax finish.

Perhaps it is an alien kind of annoyance, too strange and too funny for us human minds to comprehend.
An alien tree spirit. That or it's got a bad case of wood mite... Giant wood mite. >_<
For some outre reason, this has me thinking of the thing from the swamp crossed with a tiki face. I like it.
