Eye Heart Goblin

Front and back views of a wooden pendant in the shape of a heart, carved with the face of a one-eyed goblin, about two inches wide.

The eye is an appropriate onyx bead inserted from the back, and there is a selective stain on the wood to bring out the carving. The back is sealed with thin wood strips using wood dust in the adhesive to produce an interesting tactile surface (it makes a great "worry stone"), and has an small bead of quite nice imitation malachite inserted from its back (the back of the back, so to speak). Hand-rubbed beeswax finish. Cord tunnel through the top. There are borosilicate glass beads trapped inside, so it rattles faintly when shaken.
