This is an old piece from the days when I did a lot of plastic carving, showing top and bottom views.
I left a clear round "window" in the top for viewing the reverse-carved effects of the rest of the cube.

I got the window idea from George Barr*, who had bought an acrylic carving of mine with a flat base, and had the base polished to show the inside view.
