A late-summer sunrise.

This photo was so exhausting. After staying up all night, I left home at about 3am and the walk took me around 2 hours. I spent an hour or so shooting and didn't bring any money for food or drink, so I was well and truly stuffed by the time I finished. When I got to the bottom of Mt Coot-tha, I passed out at a picnic table for an hour or so before walking home.

I've since moved, but at the time I took this I was living just near the tallest building that you see there on the left.

Sounds like a memorable trip too, I did that once but the mountain was a lot smaller, and it was at the end of my street -___-
And all the photos were crap =P

Excellent work!
And thanks for sharing about how you took this. It adds to the image to see not just what the camera saw, but the hike up the hill and the passion you put into the photo.

Thank you!

I take my best shots when I pour every conscious thought and emotion into them. When other things are on my mind, it shows in the photographs.
