Mallow Forvandling

I would know that's my first Pokémon girl petrification work done for the first time since last year. I chose to do Mallow this time. Although I haven't played Sun and Moon, Mallow is one of Ash's five classmates in the Pokémon School in the anime. Mallow loves food just because she works in her family's restaurant. It would be fair for Ash to have someone who loves like to cook like Brock, Cilan, and Clemont. Also, Mallow knows her Grass-type Pokémon. As for the statue, I chose to draw Mallow turning into Daphne from Gianlorenzo Bernini's sculpture "Apollo and Daphne". If I remember, the statue shows a love-struck Apollo chasing Daphne as he tries to fall in love with the nymph. However, Daphne didn't want love because she wanted to call her dad to turn her into a tree. Despite Apollo's efforts, he couldn't love Daphne, but he got something in a loss because the laurel leaves would mean victory in academics and athletics. I wanted to draw Mallow's headband on her like in the cartoon, but I chose to omit it. Mallow really knows that her body is nearly marble since she's nude and her lower areas would be covered in tree bark like Daphne. In addition, Mallow's hands are turning into tree branches like the statue to symbolize her petrification. As much as it's classical, I refused to expose Mallow's breasts since she's underage. Second, I didn't want to show her exposed her rear end. However, I kept some of Mallow's clothing intact, but she knows that she'll be a fully transformed statue when it's done. I had the title in Swedish, which means "Mallow's Transformation". I can believe Mallow can fit perfectly as Daphne since they're related to nature. I would wonder if Mallow will remain a statue forever.
