An award well won. This is superb work.

Is Melian "looking at the camera" as an indication of her prescience of this situation, or is that just a trick of the angle of her head/face?

As someone with poor imagination, this work I will have in my mind when I read that part again.

I'm always amazed by artists who draw groups of characters in wonderful settings so well. I have these pictures in my head but not the skill to create them. Costumes, architecture, poses, expressions and great lighting. Stunning, highly skilful work.
I found this going through my favorites years later, and am suddenly reminded how much I liked it. The colors fill the scene, and the elves give a sense of wonder, both within and without. Inside the scene they wonder who this Beren-human is and why he dares come her. Outside the scene, I wonder who they are, and what adventures they've had that have never been told. It's a great image. Well done.

This is an amazing piece of art! I feel like you gave this scene a fresh look. I love the lighting, attention to detail and the poses of the individual elves. It really reminds me of the classical Renaissance paintings.  Keep up the awesome work! :D

If I knew the Sindarin word for "awesome", I'd use it.

I suspect backgrounds for LorR is difficult, but you pulled it off.

Truly gorgeous pic that astounds with its combination of the high and epic with its attention to detail The presence of trees and plants, combined with the flowing and graceful styles in the architecture and its decoration shows that this scene takes the place in an elven land. The banner and decorations on the floor and dais are very fine, and one can see the attentiveness in the assembled Quendi and the hopes for a union between the First- and Secondborn Children of Ilúvatar!

The designs of the elves themselves and their garb marches perfectly with how you have designed their home. Thank you for showing us this might testament to artistic talent!
