The WallThe life of my body
Will bleed rainbows
My veins a highway of
That shift to multifaceted
Rainbows will trickle from my brow
Dappling the filth
I stand knee deep in.
My sores pulse with technicolor
As I join my brothers and sisters
At the wall.
Shoulder to shoulder
Our hands fixated on the brick work
Our feet anchored in
As we push
Onward and home.
Our pulses a symphony
That howls to life
Amidst the force
That causes up to slip.
We get back up
Into oil canvases
And our hearts sing
A tune of polychromatic
As we clench our fists
Against the blisters
We push that wall
To where it belongs.
"You must stay drunk on writing so reality cannot destroy you." -Ray Bradbury
Hello~! <3 I'm Domus Vocis, and I am a proud furry writer. Ever since middle and high school, writing fiction has been my calling like a wolf's howl. As I wrote more and took inspiration from fellow authors in and out of the fandom, my love for writing and this fandom has grown over the years. And during those years, I came up with three rules for becoming a more skilled writer.
1) Never wait to write; just write.
2) Don't copy or steal, but be original.
3) Don't let others define what you should and shouldn't write.
Outside of this, I mostly write science fiction, young adult, and contemporary fiction, dabbling on occasion with different genres. I love to binge anime I like, read books and spend my time surviving college exams.
If you enjoy my work, please consider pre-ordering my upcoming debut novel, "The Adventures of Peter Gray" a historical coming-of-age fantasy that'll make you laugh and melt your furry heart! If you're interested in pre-orders, follow the link here: writtendreams.com/store/#!/PRE…
On a small side note, I should mention all my stories and OC's are © to me alone. If you wish to borrow any of them, just ask. If not, follow the Three Rules and make your own Trust me; a true writer and artist creates his/her own ideas from scratch.
