Yup... Got a phone call that woke us up. Husband's step father suddenly passed away as of 4 am this morning. Currently working on a means to move up to mother-in-law's ASAP as she's suicidal at this moment and the best means of keeping her around is by having her grandbaby nearby. Right now, trying to find a means of getting there within a few weeks without losing 90% of our stuff.

That time of year is fast approaching so I figure I'd get a head start and make my list now =) Not really expecting anything this year, like all the previous years, but never hurts to dream. Sims 4 with at least the Pets expansion (pets release Nov 10th) New Laptop to game on (as this one is slowly failing) $300 to have fun with

Only thing I really want for my birthday is a new laptop... This one gradually getting worse and worse and can't even afford a used one from the pawn shop that meets the minimum requirements for the games I play. So badly want a brand new laptop for a change.... Saw a good one at Walmart I was looking at prior to the car killing over that was under $700 that would work nicely and was going to get it with the tax returns (which is now out the window cause car died)
