Greetings ladies and gents. Gals and Ghouls. Things of that nature...or something of that sort. I go by Twisteddoll, but if you find that too juvenile and/or cliche, you can just call me Doll. If you have a problem with that- You should hold your tongue.
I have a thing for dolls, but I am most definitely not the sweetest person around. I'm bitter and loud mouthed. Overtly honest, if I don't like something or someone, you will know. In abundance. I beat a dead horse on more than one occasion.
I am a varied artist, in case if you didn't adhere to the labels, or read them....I model-and yes, sometimes I get paid. By that logic, that makes me some sort of professional? It's more a hobby, for I love prancing around in costume...but I digress. I also like to draw, write, and paint. My art is my way of expressing what I find beautiful, or profound. I don't like to inspire people, nor do I look to make people relate to my writings and art. If you do, fine. If you don't..well that's not particularly my problem.
As a model, with or without quotations, I get loads of comments on my appearance. Sometimes they overstep boundaries. So, let me be clear. You are not charming, nor would you ever sweep me off my feet. I am COMPLETELY in love with this man here: iconforgottenwoods: He is my prince, he is my Alucard. He is everything I WANT, and I will not leave him just because you think I am hot. Don't even fantasize about it...
When it comes to photomanipulators and the such using my modeling images for manipulations or other works of art, please don't hesitate to ask! I love to see the art you can create C:
I do take Art-Trades as well! Just ask, as sometimes my schedule doesn't permit. I do NOT do requests anymore, as like I said I generally do my art for me,....so if I am not getting anything from something then, really it's of no use to me.
Please DO NOT send me notes unless it's art related. I don't chat on here , really.
Thanks So Much for the watch, Really appreciate it. Is it okay if I follow you back in return?
You are so welcome! and it's absolutely okay!
Thank YOU again.
I took some time to explore your site & efforts and... Wow. I was floored. Your art-style and photowork has this, "unpolished" for lack of better word, feel upon impression But...!
...this is what makes your efforts distinctively powerful simultaneously! Its this raw honesty captured right there in that moment which still shines even in edit & finalizing, really recalls the vibes of 80s90s~pre-2010 stylings and visuals if nothing else, recreating & preserving in a different era takes skill. Also, original costume play and modelling is always a Plus. And upon deeper study, there is meticulous eye & planning evident be it clothes coordination, blend of fashion genres, mise-en-scene of subjects, and knowledge of what makes you, yourself.
As someone below wrote in the comments that being yourself & keeping that spirit maintained always is what moved them, I wholeheartedly agree & its this discovery that I write this here as my sign of gratitude. So always keep creating and sharing your efforts here, its what's really Needed especially in this short-attention-spanned, trend-&-trigger prevalent era.
Thank you so much for such a lovely, in depth comment <3 <3 <3 It always warms my heart when people check out my gallery, I know there's a lot of it<3 <3 I feel like all my art forms go hand in hand and are definitely inspired by those eras! so very good eye! ( I am also a 90s baby , haha)
Most Welcome, seriously seeing your content brought back that strong drive to just move forward with what one Loves & Defines oneself personally, helps us look back in this chaotic era.
Yes, I know there some digital elements, even some that may likely filtered through recent sources, still the overall feel, subjects, & even texture is mostly pre-2010s style so it's just amazing to see it still here. You're 90s era!? Awesome, hope you Maintain those memories, spirit & touch please! (I'm 80s kid but anything Y2K I cherish)
ty for the fave!!!
