My past life friends

Probably sounds a bit out-there, but I remember a lot of things that happened way before I was born. This is a drawing of two of my friends and myself during WW1, we were on the Western Front in 1916.

Lorenz was an aspiring poet. He'd seen the other soldiers write poetry so he decided to try it himself too. But alas, he was not a talented writer and he made us all read his terrible handiwork. Heinz grew up on a farm in Hessen, Germany. That was just a nickname, I asked if his full name was Heinrich but he wouldn't tell me, and would make up something outrageous like "Oh my father's a lost prince of the Austro-Hungarian Empire so we're in disguise during the war, so I can't tell you my real name" lmao wtf.

And Ernst was me. My middle name was Fritz so we nicknamed each other Heinz, Fritz and Lenz (for Lorenz).

Not sure why I decided to post this, maybe so that someone else who remembers past lives might see it. Dear reader, if you too have any past life experiences I'd love to chat to you too.

Also I was just reminded deviantart existed because they randomly sent me an email after a looooong time. Might also add that these are actual things I remember, I didn't just make them up off the top of my head (believe me, I checked, Ernst Thälmann actually exists, and his historical record matches everything I remember). Maybe in the future I'll post some other past life art.
