I love your sprite a lot, it looks amazing. Firstly has an unique color style, also the entire design looks so vivid.
Well, I love making pixel art too, but there are few "rules" that you're broking. I've just looked at your art from deviant last 24 hours featured browse, and I wanted to help. Just look at this:

It's one of the principal pixel artists troubles that you can find over all designers; ¡Color wasting! You have a lot of colors in there, wasted colors I mean. ¿What a wasted color is?
Wasted colors are colors that you have on your drawing that are highly similar to another on the same piece. Having one or more similar color on your art, you may delete one of them and then remap your pixels to get a new color palette.

Left one is your one, and right one has a reduced color palette (32c).
The overall looking is the same, but technically you'll be doing it by the right way. So if you "kill" those wasted colors you'll get a better and more professional art without reducing your art quality.

Watching art pieces over a DeviantGroup I've found this drawing, since it's a pixel art piece I decided to give it my CC about.
Monsters, creatures, dragons, and anykind of a combination or mythical living fiend looks amazing at sideview pixel art, but this only if they was drawn by the right way, with correct proportions and colors. This one isn't an exception, excluding simple animation that it has, the entire sprite looks amazing. Deserving the hard work that it shows; colors were managed correctly, and primal design (outline) looks very polished.
It's a perfect example of a great pixel art piece.
