The Ancient One (Tell me your thoughts :D)

An epic battle that took place a few hundred years ago in the universe in which my eventual books will take place (see if you can make sense of that sentence lol). Not sure if I'll stick with the design for the dragon, definitely not happy with the lil Draconian dude there, but whatever, it was good practice--especially for the sea and the sky, because I generally suck at both of those--and I had fun with it.

Time spent: App. 40 hours, give or take 5

Materials used: Prismacolor pencils for the majority of it, Prismacolor and Copic markers for the first layer (beneath the dragon, only), and Oderless Mineral Spirits, to blend the sand (and a wee bit on the rocks too just for kicks)
