Bizzare crossover - Thunderbirds / Red Dwarf

This week, Thursday 14th November 2019 celebrates the 30th Anniversary of Red Dwarf - Series III . . and the series famous green craft, Starbug 1, which made her debut appearance on the same day in the episode 'Backwards'.

Now I was just looking for an old Video about Starbug 1 that I'm going to be linking to an upload this Thursday, and I came across this Video called 'Red Dwarf - Starbug and Blue Midget- Dwarfers are Go !'.

It's simply clips from classic and modern Red Dwarf of Blue Midget and Starbug 1, including the Carbug from 2009's 'Back to Earth', mixed with the song 'Thunderbirds' by the band Busted, originally for the extremely unpopular 2004 film of 'Thunderbirds'.

At the first moment I played this Video, it just looked and felt absurd, as absurd as Dave Lister's triple friend egg sandwhich with chilli sauce and chutney, which Rimmer once tried and just that all the incredients we're wrong . . but put them all together, and somehow, it works !! . . and that's what I found strange about this Video, because to me, mixing a song originally for an unpopular 'Thunderbirds' film mixed with footage from Red Dwarf just shouldn't work . . but somehow, it just does, and the editing is brilliant, choosing the right clips to fit with the songs lyrics, for example, the lyric "Kids are learning fast,
They know the T-birds kick some ass" is accompanied by a scene of the young boy and girl from part 2 of 'Back to Earth', so it works really well this Video.
