Captain Marvel(s)- My Headcanon
So since the 40s, there have been A LOT of Captain Marvels from various comic companies.
So this is a brief overview of all the Captain Marvels I plan to acknowledge in my comic headcanon world Erthe-22816. I will eventually post more detailed bios of each character when I have their backstories more than 50% figured out.
Sadly, I have yet to figure out where to put in the android Captain Marvel from the 60s who is hilarious and cool in a weird way. Ya gotta love those super-vague heroes.
Please don't comment just to say I got something wrong from the MCU Captain Marvel movie. This is MY headcanon and my Captain Marvels. Thank you.
Captain Mar-Vell

MST3K, The Gauntlet, Review of the Movies
I'm only going to (briefly) cover the 6 movies and not the host segments or in-show plot. I don't want to give away spoilers for that.
I know a lot of you out there have probably already seen this latest MST season, but the whole point of the Internet is about posting your opinion on things regardless of whether anyone cared or not.
MAC AND ME (1988)
Everything you heard about this movie is true. It's one of the worst movies in existence!! And not just cause it's an E.T. ripoff, it's just, plain, TERRIBLE. I can't even, it physically hurts!
It even got my mom mad, and she's all Solid, Midwestern-raised, Christian sweet! She never gets mad like that!
The 2 worst things about it?
1: It made me ashamed to have been born and raised in the 80s! I'm usually very proud of being an 80s child, almost ridiculously so, and never felt ashamed that I still occasionally watch some of my childhood cartoons, or w

The Perfect Ghostbusters sequel
I came up with this a few minutes ago. And bear in mind I haven't yet seen the 2016 movie, so I'm mostly going by the Wikipedia article.
So in contemporary times, Egon Spengler just passed away. The official statement from the university where he taught  parapsychology is old age, but it's believed he died from repeated exposure to molds, spores, fungus, and all the strange ghostly ectoplasm he's encountered over the decades.
Egon even wrote a book classifying the different kinds of ectoplasm that exists out there as well as the existence of "ghost radiation"

Venkman, Stantz, and Zeddemore are going thru Egon's remaining stuff in his apartment and trying to figure out what to do with all the lab equipment and strange devices.

And they also have to talk about whether to finally shut down Ghostbusters since they're all over 60 and the jobs they get nowadays have barely made a profit.

My Spidersona
WEBSYTE (Patricia Parkinson) Voice would sound like Julia McIlvaine (June from “Kablam!”)
Okay, let's take it from the top one more time. My name is Patricia Parkinson. And for the past six years, I’ve been the one and only Websyte! You can figure out the rest. This total stranger sacrificed his life to save mine. I promised him I would follow in his footsteps, helping people who need it the most. In the regular world, in the city of New Amsterdam, I’m your average, run of the mill, introvert. But when I put on my VR helmet, my mind is transported to the Information Super Highway where I am part of a group of heroes that protect and serve by stopping viruses and hackers from harming your personal information or threaten world security. I metaphorically saved the world several times. It’s only recently that I and my robot mouse sidekick, Amos have been able to manifest my powers in the physic

A Moment

The early sun shines thru the bedroom window of 26 year old Sarah.

She winces at the light, cursing that she forgot to close the curtains last night.

Getting up would fix it, but she really doesn’t want to. It’s so warm and soft here.

Deeper sounding curses emanate behind her.

An arm stretches over her body, flicks his wrist, and the curtains close.

The room is delightfully dark now.

Thank you.” She sighs.

Grumbles are all she gets as a reply as the arm tightens around her waist. That and his soft lips kissing her hair before he buries his face back into his pillow.

Sarah smiles and snuggles closer to her husband.

5th Anniversary on DA!
Coincidentally, I first started writing the basics of this series back in Halloween, 2013. Weird...
(AUTHOR'S NOTES: At this point in the series, Discord lives under house arrest in the Princesses' old castle but has earned a chance to have fun with the Mane 6, Spike, and the CMC at the Fireworks Festival. This being an excerpt, there will be blank spaces)
Fireworks Festival celebrates the end of summer and the start of Fall.
When Fluttershy arrives at the castle to pick him up. She reveals she isn’t going to wear her Element as a show of trust nor tell the others. She’s wearing a turtleneck so the other girls won’t see if she’s wearing her Element or not.
Discord: “You could get in trouble with the others about this.”
Fluttershy: “I know.”

EPILOGUE- Author's Notes

The beautiful song, “Shades of Grey” (1967) was performed by The Monkees and is the property of Rhino Entertainment. Also the only Shades of Grey that I consider worth my time.
The Matenadaran is a real museum that holds one of the world’s largest collections of medieval manuscripts and books.
Grigor Narekatsi AKA Saint Gregory of Narek was a monk and is considered Armenia's first great poet. He was declared a Doctor of the Church by Pope Francis in 2015.
“Sigerson” is the alias Sherlock Holmes uses during his three years while pretending to be dead. Lots of Sherlock Holmes fans believe this means Sherlock and Mycroft’s father is named Siger. I use a different name in my fanfics.
Charles Gray played Mycroft Holmes to Jeremy Brett’s Sherlock in the Granada Sherlock Holmes series. And did an amazing job of it. He and Jeremy clicked so well together. Besides “Greek Interpre

Mid-September 2012
The Matenadaran, Yerevan, Armenia
A light brown-haired man with thick “professor” style glasses and overall “university professor with a cheap clothing budget” apparel enjoys studying a Grigor Narekatsi manuscript on display when his cheap cell phone vibrates in his jacket. He quickly moves out of the way of other visitors and answers it. “Barev Dzez?” (Hello?)
Am I speaking to Mr. Sigerson?
He checks around. He’s in a little nook and his voice won’t echo the way museums do if he keeps his voice soft. So he answers back. “Is this Mr. Gray? Your voice sounds different over the phone.”

Reading of His Will- Chapter 3 Author's Notes

According to Wikipedia and that London map website I love using, Richmond Terrace is directly across from Downing Street.
I like the idea that Mycroft’s main headquarters is technically not in Whitehall like the majority of England’s government branches’ offices are based, but close enough. I’m easily amused.
Also, was I the only one who thought the office in the series 1 finale was just not Mycroft’s? There were three windows and that transom opening over the door that would be child’s play for an assassin to use. Several assassins at the same time! And the décor was like it was right out of some furniture magazine or a Sears display and nothing to show it was inhabited at any time. It was a showpiece, not a workable office.
Granted, I doubt Mycroft is the type to put little touches in his office like family pictures or a plant, but that office was too impersonal.
That lovely looking sky

"The reason that clichés become clichés is that they are the hammers and screwdrivers in the toolbox of communication." - Sir Terry Pratchett

I could be slow in posting stories as I refuse to post anything until the story is 110% finished at least. And since I have several multi-chapter stories planned...

I live about 20 miles north of the Emerald City (WA)

Occupation: NinjaFencerDiscoDancer

One of my life rules is: "If it entertained me, then it is NOT a bad movie/tv show."

The 80's have the best cartoons, tv shows, and songs!! I can go on for hours about all the awesome those ten years have given me.

I'm a Anglophile to the extreme! Pretty sure I own more British books than American. It's 50/50 with shows and music.

My sister says my inner masculine self is half the Viking from… and half Spock. She gets me SO well.

What MLP FIM, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and the Care Bears have been saying for years, never underestimate the power of FRIENDSHIP!!

Disney's 1991 "Beauty and the Beast" is my #1 most favorite movie EVER!

I am a huge emotional sappy sponge of a woman who is doomed to suffer THE FEELS and be part of the target audience for Harlequin novels, Beauty & Beast style, and redemption stories. But, at least I can look at myself in the mirror and say "I'm not a Twilight fan". I have SOME dignity!……
