Master Gunnery Sergeant Franklin had instructed them to return to the main square, apparently to meet with his boss, but the truth was neither Rufus nor Felicia had any resistance left in them. Both felt numb inside. The death of Andre the previous day hadn't really hit home with Felicia, but the loss of Jules and the Doctor was having a much more immediate impact. For Rufus, who was already feeling awful about Andre, losing Julianna would be an extra blow that his heart wasn't ready to take.
Franklin marched them back, attracting little interest from onlookers, many of whom had crossed the main road to get a better glimpse of the Hudson River and hopefully what had caused the extreme eruption earlier. Onlookers were clearly talking amongst themselves about the possiblity of a film being shot in the river, and Felicia realised how easy it was going to be to cover up what the Zygons had done.
She overheard people talking about an explosion of some sort in the physics department, but

Inside the Broton, the sound the TARDIS made could be heard faintly, gathering in volume and intensity until the TARDIS materialised onboard the Broton's bridge. The Doctor burst out, followed by his companions, and as he turned and looked at the newsstand, his sombre face went slightly more sombre.
"I think I know what the critical fault is," he muttered.
"What's the matter?" Felicia asked.
"It's not supposed to look like a newsstand," the Doctor said, as though she was an idiot.
"No, it's supposed to change it's appearance wherever it goes. The last time she was here, the ship looked like a...growth on the wall with a door. Whatever happened when I left here, the chameleon circuit got damaged and now...she's stuck."
"The magazines have changed," Julianna said, slightly surprised.
"What?" the Doctor snapped.
"The magazines," Julianna leaned forward and grabbed one, handing it over to the Doctor. "See, the date is today's date," she added. "The cover on Vogue has defini

The Doctor had strode with purpose across the campus and Felicia found herself almost running to catch up. He walked straight up to the side of the newsstand, going through the door to the interior door, and he continued on, somehow knowing that they were unlocked. Certainly there was no sigh of Rufus or Julianna, which probably gave him the clue, but Felicis reflected he would have looked a little silly had he pushed at the door and it didn't open for him.
Nonetheless, they did, and the interior double doors slid apart as he walked in. He said a quick hello to Julianna and Rufus who were sitting around in the open library room, before descending down the stairs to the lower level of the console room.
Felicia hurried after him, both eager to talk to him, find out what he was doing and also to get a better look at the lower level, which she had only glanced at before. It was the same white walls with black, touch screen computer panels, occasionally interrupted by the pulsing blue r

They were strolling through the streets, heading towards Hudson University, with a view to getting to the Physics lab. By now the day had well and truly started, and the foot traffic was building up as people began their journeys to work to start the day. The Doctor had decided to take the most populated walkways for some reason, which left Felicia feeling just a little under dressed for the situation. Rufus, clad in his baggy jeans and oversized t-shirt, also felt somewhat under dressed amongst the well dressed employees of the Upper West Side. Neither of them would have dressed like they were for lectures, and both felt a little hesitant in turning up on campus as they were - though in truth they wouldn't have looked tremendously out of place.
The Doctor was chatting amiably with Greborn, while Rufus glowered at them both from under furrowed brows. Felicia wasn't entirely certain what he was angry about, and she was slightly scared about asking her friend, so she decided to say n
