Y'know, thinking back to the Disney+ Power Rangers being cancelled due to budget concerns, I think that excuse is a lot of bunko nonsense.
I've watched clips of Descendants. They could easily make a Power Rangers series with the same production budget as that, just with fight scenes instead of dance numbers.
