Really like this! Bad guy reminds me of Dr. Karim, from the Jonny Quest episode "Curse of Anubis".

Wow, I'm digging that cool lighting effect with the dark marker/wash on the background. And her costume is very nice, too. And the masked dude at the right, and...

Oh, hell, it's all good. =)

I like this one a lot. Very atmospheric and suitably weird.

I'm wondering, though, whether I more Victorian hairstyle would help further the conceit. Her long, flowing, tangled locks are too late 20th century. The Victorians went in for tight curls and pinned up tresses. When unpinned the hair was long, yes, but was rather kinked because of all the curls used when set in place.

Just thinkin'....

Good point. I kinda cheaped out on the hair a bit, or my research. Maybe she had unusually healthy hair despite being pinned up... ;)

I do plan to make more commission of this artist & make a series out of this.

As for the 'full treatment' you might have to wait a little bit as I'm considering 'rewinding' a bit, then work up to the big finish.

Lol, I can certainly apprecate a hard day's work with traditional media: [link]

Sincerely, your work is better, as if im reading a Ye' Olde' Penny Novella's from york. Yours in a peace that transports you.
Mine? It murmurs, while yours shouts.

Gee, thanks.

I've been meaning to get some more writing done, but I just seem to have difficulty just sitting down & typing away :(

For the moment, whenever I have enough money, I commission artists like Doc & others to do whatever idea I can come up with. In fact, I'm considering making a series out of this pic. Probably have to wait till the New Year, though.

Most def, I'd love to know the story behind this because it seems so macabre and kinda zany, with 100% logical explanation. ^.^

Great.

The plan is to go back in time for a bit. Then, work upwards to a conclusion.

That's all I have to say about it, at least for now. :plotting:
