Natasha. Female portrait retouch process. Here's how I edit my portraits most of the time. The video is obviously sped up, but I've put some on screen headlines in there, and you can see lots of details in HD.
'Drowsy vibes' model videoRemember those shots?
Even if you don't, there's some sexy stuff for you again. A small sensual video test shot together with Angela back in 2011 on the same day in the same place. Never had a chance to properly edit and color grade it up until yesterday. So enjoy this one!
PS: Don't forget to turn your quality up!
The making of 'Superwoman'
It's time to talk about how you can make the light and color work for you at your own home studio. And I'm gonna show you how I made this little set with mix of heroic and erotic approach. But first, some EXIF data: here I used my Nikon D7000 with Sigma 50mm f/1.4 (stopped down to f/2), shutter speed of 1/100 and ISO 125. Why?
First of all, 50mm focal length lens on a cropped-sensor body is a wise choice if you're not in a sports stadium but in a regular sized room. When framing from overhead to knees or wider it keeps the distortion of your model 's appearance pretty low, at the same time letting you stay close enough to feel like you actually taking part in something. The shutter speed of 1/100 at f/2 allows you to expose both strobes and constant light and maintaining the depth of field shallow enough to blur the backdrop a bit. And the ISO 125, well, it's just an increment from ISO 100 that I had to make in order to have a sli
Same old storyThese two photos were not taken as a part of a project of any kind. I realized how much they have in common only a minute ago! Funny, but I've almost forgotten about the first one. They are divided by almost a year, different cameras and lenses were used, but now It's like a regeneration of some sort.
And so there was Eve... Maybe I should have called the second picture "Lilith"
Do you guys have some mystically repeating concepts in your work just for no reason?
Nice female model wanted at Sydney ASAP! =)Hi, folks!
A little update. I'm currently on vacation at Sydney, Australia. Beautiful weather here, and the city is marvelous!
But I don't have any models to shoot
If anybody knows somebody who can be useful for a TFP outside (aka photowalk), please leave them (or me) a note. Amateurs are OK as long as they meet my personal preferences. My portfolio is available here.
I'll be extremely thankfull for any help!

Pillowing Pile Thrift Store (New Stock Alert!)Welcome to the Pillowing Pile Thrift Store!
Here is a place where pillowings and lintlings come to rest, recover, and eventually go out and find new homes for themselves. For whatever reasons their old homes didn't quite work out, but that doesn't mean they're giving up. They're eager to meet you and can't wait to explore your home!
If you would like to purchase one of the adopts here with your cc, please comment below.
A mod will then comment back to confirm and collect the pillowing or lintlings things (extra art if it has any) for you and send you both on your way by note.
If you would like to trade or gift your pillowing/lintling away, just comment on the pillowings or lintlings archive submission at the Pillowing-Archive.

WHAT TOOLS DO YOU USE TO WORK?
Canson Montval or Bristol paper 300gsm, 0.3 mechanical pencil + graffiti 0.3 mm B, pencils 2B and 6B, and kneaded rubber.
Disposable ink pens 0.05, 0.1 and 0.8. French curve set, 40cm ruler. Light table. Crow quill nibs. Acrylic black ink.
The brushes I use to ink, the one format I do like is a round liner (Fine Liner Sable 2/0 302). There are many formats but particularly I like that one because it is perfect for contouring, outlining and for doing fine details, it keeps the trace steady and straight, and many people like to use it for signatures.
But I think the tools should be tested and chosen individually by each person. If you don't work well with nibs then try pens. If you don't like mechanical pencils then use regular pencils. Don't try to get the same tools that your favorite artist uses, thinking you're going to be able to make it just like them because those tools work for them. It's t

It's been so long!
I haven't done a journal in ages and I just updated the look of my profile page and it called for a new one of ....these. So! Let me update you.
I have been very busy, and artwork is coming along slowly, as everyone who actively watches me knows. Sorry about that! I promise I'll be better. <3
I also want to give a special thank you to everyone that showed support of me with the recent hullabaloo... I was really overwhelmed and touched. So thank you so much~! It really helped me get through it. c:
Also for anyone that has not noticed some time in the undecided future, I will be starting my own online manga! I'll be posting the pages here in my gallery. It'll be called Lemuria. I have set up a special sub-gallery just for it now, though it only boasts two im
A quick update on my absenceHello DAers!
My long absence due to multiple projects (and teaching, and graduate school) is probably a month away from coming to an end. I apologies for those who sent me IMs and didn't hear back, sometimes for months. If there is a rush it's almost always better to contact me through my website contact form, as I'll see that right away.
Also, I should have lots of fun skeletals to show off in the coming months (and years) thanks in part to the work I put in over the last 9 months. I look forward to chatting with you all again in a few weeks!
Features of October 2018And here we have October's edition of the feature journals! Come look through some spoopy entries and give them some love
I see some of you guys have really improved since the last feature journal I've done XD
