November Drawings

Just some drawings I've done this month. Or... at least the finished ones. My pen nib was crapping out on me and it took awhile for me to realize that, so I've been thinking I just suck at drawing digitally for the last two months when I've been working with a broken tool. Switched out nibs and things are great now. Had a lot of scrapped drafted in my frustration, so this is all that really remained when I tried drawing again.

Trying to get use to shading, but it's taking some time. Feeling out the shapes and direction of the light is difficult at the moment. Also, Rynn... I'm gonna' be real, she was gonna' be a character for a fanfic, but I scrapped the idea. Have no idea what to use her for now.

Also trying to really figure out Selena's hair and how it should move when she's doing actiony stuff. And some minor redesigns. I want something a little more stable for Selena's leg braces and Amano's lower half. Her half-worn gi just... doesn't work for her, so her just wearing it real loose is better. Equally, the hannya kneepads were overkill. She's an aikidoka, so she barely uses her legs to begin with. Even the karate she knows doesn't really use knee strikes, sooooo... switching out the kneepads for shackles on her ankles, helps make the oni-vibes more obvious.
