Logan and Storm Married

Another picture inspired by the 90's X-Men episode, "One Man's Worth", again you can watch the 2 part episode here: [link]
In the pic it is Logan and Ororo aka Wolverine and Storm from an alternate universe, and here's a twist, they are married to eachother! In the episode, if Charles Xavier was assassinated in 1959, this is how Logan and Storm would end up, but of course in the world they live in, they are struggling for survival because no Xavier, means no equal rights to mutants, which would lead to humans destroying mutants.
I am not really satisfied with the pic, I think the body proportions are off, but I probably won't work on this pic again. Oh and if you guys are wondering why in this pic Storm seems to have blue eyes whereas in my previous pic she has violet, that's because I realized something interesting, in the X-Men Evolution show, when Storm is in battle mode, her eyes are blue, but when she is content her eyes are violet, so in my previous pic I made her eyes violet because she is content, but here since in the alternate universe Logan and Storm are constantly fighting off humans for survival, I made her eyes blue. Oh and if you are wondering why I drew them in the clothes that they are in, just watch the episode and you'll get it. Now in the episode, the artists gave alternate Storm sort of like a mohawk, (her hair is shaved on both sides of her head) I really did not want to draw Storm with that hairstyle (I just think she looks gorgeous in Evolution, I didn't want to change her hair!) so I just placed her hair in a ponytail with a bandana.
Hope you guys like the pic.

It's really sad how in the end of this episode the two had to be separated for what I hope is not forever... They make the perfect couple.

To me, X-Men Evolution is possibly the only place this pairing can work and not feel forced.

Good job on this BTW. ^^

Ok, I'm literally writing a story about Rogue being Logan and Ororo's long lost daughter now... Thanks for the inspiration. Muahahahaha!
You'll probably find it on fanfiction soon :D (Big Grin)

It's drawn like X-Men Evolution, but this episode is from X-Men The Animated Series...

I wish they had done an X-men Evo version of this episode from the '90s. It was just so awesome and it was what got me to ship Wolvie and Storm in the first place.

Anyway, great artwork. It's really awesome!

This is quite cute and I think it makes for a pretty good picture. ^-^ Hmm, I noticed you mentioned you’re not sure about the anatomy though. Well looking at this, I’d say you’re doing pretty well with getting the basic forms down, which is a really good start! –But something I would definitely recommend is that you look up some muscle references and anatomy diagrams/ pictures. Because when you study from real life and add it into your cartoonic style, it will improve your style that much more. (Not to say that what you’ve drawn is necessarily wrong, but using some realistic references will give it that extra needed pizzazz). Also, I really like what chose to do with Storm’s ponytail hairstyle! –Although, I would also recommend working with how you’re drawing the hair textures. –The hairstyles themselves look fine, but playing around with how you’re drawing and representing the hair textures could also help improve your drawings when drawing characters.
Lastly, playing with the line quality (variations in line thickness and thinness), could also help quite a bit. *A good rule of thumb is to have lines thicken a bit at significant body contours, or where more shade is hitting the figure.
~Maybe that was more advise than you wanted thrown in your direction, and it’s not to make you feel overwhelmed, they’re just things that could be worked on to really enhance your drawing style. The trick is just to keep practicing it. You’re doing great so far! And speaking from experience, no matter what style you like to draw in, (even if its extremely cartoony), the more you draw from life and practice realistic drawings, the more it will improve what you can already do, and it will even make cartoon drawings look that much more amazing. ~happy drawing ☺

W00t! Logan/Ororo! :XD: I so love this couple. Mostly cause it makes Logan quit pinning for Jean like a damn puppy. ><;

Awesome job, friend. :D :thumbsup: :+favlove:

So like, thank you for reminding me just how creepy the 90's shows were *shudders*
I love your pic, way better than the seven minutes I watched out of sheer shock... it has this tenderness to it that makes me go "aaww".
