I have left the balloons by the way side. I was no longer getting any sense of enjoyment from performing at the shows and events, not to mention it was taking me further away from home just to make money regularly. The cost vs. the price didn't match up anymore so I am no longer doing the balloon "thing". I will be putting my energies back into music (I am singing with 2 bands at the moment) and earning a living with a regular day job. Well, next weekend I am off to the campsite for the weekend with family and friends. I will be twisting at the Ice Cream festival in Simcoe Ontario July 27th-28th. I had a great time last year and this time I have a friend of mine coming to provide face painting, and things are looking good weather wise as well. Can't wait for the camping / working vacation.

That time of year again, I am fast approaching the age where I will no longer be able to do balloons for my son's birthdays. I think this year may be one of, if not the last year I will be doing so. At least I can still do all the other shows I do, but I will never get as much enjoyment out of them as I have while doing them for my son's birthday. All good things come to an end, and when one door closes another opens. As I finish doing b-day's for my boy, I am starting a new venture as the lead vocals of yet another band. This is not a new concept for me but it has been quite some time since the last time I had done so. Life always changes on
