Visual Overhaul -
The Compsognathus gains very little change however wild Compies having their head crests removed but their back now sporting pycnofibres resembling fur.

Behavioural Overhaul - Wild Compies are aggressively curious in which they react & become attracted to swarming behaviour due to a specialised pheromone, much akin to bees.

Idle Overhaul:
A) Compy spin - The compy will perform a small 360° spin at the end of every 60 seconds when set on Passive.
B) Compy hop - The compy will perform a hopping spin at the end of every 60 seconds when set on Neutral.
C) Compy shriek - The Compy will boast an angry shriek at the end of every 60 seconds when set on Aggressive.

Kingpin Compsognathus
Kingpins are a new feature amongst shoulder pets where they appear slightly different amongst their original brethren. The Kingpin Compy will appear to sport more prominent vibrant feathers all over its body & stand slightly larger than it’s wilder counterparts. Like all Kingpins they aren’t tameable in the wild & can only be bred to become one.

New Features:

1) Alert rally - Kingpin Compies have the ability to call & summon 10 Compy minions with a standardised level of 150 alongside a balanced stat each. The Kingpin has a full control over these minions & through the Survivor they can command this small army to swarm & attack their target. The rally lasts a total of a minute & 30 seconds where upon reaching the duration marker the army disperses & disappears, having a cool down of 15 seconds.

2) Compy swarm - In the wild Compies now have the ability to swarm & latch onto survivors as well as small to medium sized mounts. Upon latching, Compies have the power to slow down & eventually encumber their target to the point of immobility where they slowly damage them or leave them exposed to other threats. Through the Survivor a Kingpin Compsognathus would command the rally to swarm the Survivors target via whistling.

3) Swarming - The Swarming status effect is an affliction exclusive to Compies. Towards survivors there are two stages. The first stage relies on 3-5 Compies latching onto the Survivor causing them to to become encumbered, slowing movement speed & draining stamina. The second stage relies on 8-10 Compies to latch onto a survivor, in which the Swarm will zero out Speed & stamina & cause them to become subjected to a prone crawl movement, until the Survivor is prompted to shake themselves free from the swarm.
As a passive trait the Kingpin Compsognathus has the ability to repel wild Compies from attacking let alone approach its Survivor if they holster the Dinosaur on their shoulder. This keeps their survivor & the mount they ride on safe from the Compy swarm, however in PVP this ability also immunises hostile Survivors from a Kingpins Alert rally if the hostile themselves has a Kingpin Compy on their shoulder.

4) Swarming essence - Compsognathus now drop a new item upon its kill known as Compy pheromones. These Pheromones can be imbued to create Swarming darts, ammunition that once injected onto a target causes wild Compsognathus to swarm & encumber the afflicted. Can only be used by a Longneck Rifle. Requirements include:
• Compy pheromones (3x)
• Metal ingots/Scrap metal ingots (2x)
• Tranquilliser dart

Procompsognathus Reskin
Requirements:
• Fossil bones (200x)

• Hide (150x)
• Compy pheromones (20x)

The Procompy skin costume is worn over a tamed Compsognathus to make it appear as a Procompsognathus & is crafted using a Cooking pot with the required ingredients.

Frothing
Wearing the Procompy skin gives the Compsognathus the ability to grant the swarm venomous damage. Upon its summoning the Compy swarm will inflict venom draining health & stamina.
