My Bio
I dabble in a lot of different art forms but make my living creating custom pieces of jewelry and Gem Trees. In 2009, I published a book titled Gem Tree Sculptures a guide on how to create a gem tree. You can find me teaching at Shipwreck Beads in Lacey, WA or at art retreats such as Art & Soul or the Puget Sound Bead Festival. I travel frequently and gain inspiration for my art, jewelry and gem trees through those travels.

Some of my newest paintings aren't large paintings at all but are small entries in my art journal. I've been painting various pictures in acrylic and then scanning them. You'll be seeing some of them here but for the most part they are my explorations in various techniques in what works for me and what doesn't.

This month the only art I created were the tags on my gift packages. I painted various snowmen in acrylic. They were a big hit. I think next year family members will just request a painting instead of my normal crafty gifts I give. I can't imagine why they wouldn't want a crochet scarf, it is Winter and cold outside.
Note to self.... do more art.
