As usual, drop a comment below or note me if you want your feedback! We noticed a lot of improvement and saw our feedback being put to good use and it made us very happy, so thanks for that!

Here are two more general tips~!

Tip 1: Choose something that will catch the eye
Pick one of the things in your composition that has to catch your audience’s eye. This will be the most exciting / important or even the prettiest details of your drawing. The rest of the drawing is there to make your ‘eye catcher’ come to its right and make it stand out without your 'eye catcher' feeling out of place.

Tip 2: Choose a focal point
Your characters are looking at something. When drawing, pick something or someone they are looking at. What are they doing at that time? Will their body twist and turn as they face their enemy? Or are they looking at something in the background? The audience follows their gaze (just like when you are reading a comic; you follow the flow). The direction their eyes are facing (so to say) and their body language can tell a lot about what the character is doing and what they are feeling at that moment. If a characters is looking at something that is not in the picture, the audience will, too. They will look for something that isn’t drawn. (This is great if you want to make your audience think about the drawing you made, but not so much for this tournament since battles are generally quite straightforward.)

Edit 29-01-2015: The bracket has finally been updated! You can now see your points. (Sorry it took so long!)

I hope you all have a wonderful day!
