Is Disney style fan art accepted here?

I'd like to contribute some art but only the featured folder is open for submissions. Will this be fixed anytime soon or is it on purpose? I don't want to just drop my stuff wherever  

Now, am I to understand this properly?  This group includes things drawn in the style of Disney but is not exclusively Disney fan art and characters?
