This is the interior of Carousel Boutique, featuring its main showroom and small back area. There is a large group of props that are included to help decorate the scene and bring it to life. You'll find mannequins, mirrors, dress displays, a clothing cart, desk, shelves, and more! There is also a group of props that can be used to create a small sewing area for rarity. There is a fully rigged sewing machine, spools of floss, rolls of fabric, a rigged pair of scissors, and more. Check it out below!

Furniture and Props Breakdown

Below are the major furniture items and props as seen in the animation and out n' around the interior.

Clothing Cart by discopears

The clothing cart above is actually a combination of several objects. The cart is its own prop with its wheels rigged. Each empty hanger and clothes item is their own object as well. Their origin or root bone has been placed at the very top of the hanger so that each item can easily be animated to lean when the cart is moved.

Sewing Stuff by discopears

The props above are all of the sewing and workshop related items. The sewing machine has been rigged, you can animate the hammer, base (for shaking), and the wheel on the back. The spool models have multiple skins so that you can change the floss color, same with the rolls of fabric. The unwound roll of fabric seen in the back has several flexes that allow you to control bends in the fabric to make it appear wavy (as opposed to flat).

Damage by discopears

The final models shown above are various damage props that were used in the animation to help make the interior appear under kept when Applejack was failing to run the boutique. The top three sets of plans are for the door and windows. The three in the middle left are individual objects with three different skins as shown. Aside from the planks, there are two simple cobweb models.

Discopears' 2015 Year in Review

Jan 2, 2016
Where to begin...     This year has no doubt been crazy, from a never ending stream of constant challenges being thrown my way and yet seeming to somehow be one of my most productive. When this year started I found myself having to adjust back to a life I had long hoped to be left behind, enduring the hardships of once again losing my home and belongings as I became homeless a second time.    However, among such hardships I have built some amazing memories and experiences I couldn't be anymore thankful for. I was able to keep myself busy, spend quality time with my brother, graduate from high school, make awesome progress with my artwork a...

Ponyville - Explorable (Sketchfab)

Oct 19, 2015
Hey there!I just made a small explorable environment of Ponyville for Sketchfab using my free models from  Discopears' MLP Assets Hub  and some personal additions made in Blender.I have all my models on Sketchfab as part of the release but I never actually made a scene with the Ponyville models. Well, here it is! Let me know what you think, had a lot of fun creating the little environment surrounding the area. PS: I know it's not technically 'accurate', I just wanted to make my own little scene. =) Check out the others if you haven't seen them already! Isn't Sketchfab awesome?? Editing and getting my work on there was completely worth th...

TTF Release Update - Blender + Source Files

Sep 23, 2015
Hi there! Today I'm happy to say that I've just updated the  A True, True Friend Animation Assets  Release :D The Blender files have now been released! Took a little longer to get these up than I originally planned because I got preoccupied with some things that came up, but nonetheless here they are. :)With these files now available you should easily be able to make your own changes, take a closer look at the models, and be far more open to using them without restraint! If you use my assets in something, please let me know because I'd love to see what you made and let you know what I think. Lots of love and labor went into all these asset...

Help and FAQ - TTF Animation Assets

Sep 10, 2015
NOTICE: This page is an active project. I will add to this whenever I find something that can help others in making best use of these models in their own projectsIf you need help with something that is not here, please feel free to ask in the comments or send me a PM. If a big enough issue, I'll add it to the FAQ below. :) Do these work in Garry's Mod? Yes! They should work just fine for posing and making your own scenes there as well. However, they don't have collisions yet so actually playing with them might be kind of lame. I'm currently working on a proper gmod version that will let take all the props and throw them around. I mean...
