Woooooaaaaah. I like the vibe this thing gives off. Those simple faces in the background really make their gazes pierce right into me. I have mixed feelings about that guy in the center though...
The guy in the center portrays helplessness. While everyone looks down on him for a crime he did not commit, just because the gun is in his hands. However, interpret it as you will. My art is there to connect to people in their own ways.
Sumi ink, a few copics here and there, white ink, and ballpoint pens. However for the orangish background i actually use honing oil (which is used for sharpening knives and is pretty toxic). i know it’s strange, and there probably better alternatives, but that’s how i get my grimey backgrounds.
