Based on a photo. Toshisaburo is the younger brother of Sugi Toranosuke (Yoshida Shoin) from Choshu. There's a 15 year difference between the brothers, but of the 7 siblings in their family, Toshisaburo is said to resemble Shoin the most. Random fact: Toshisaburo was born deaf.
