I initially learned from my aunt as a child and have trained off and on in Kendo and Iaido over the years since, largely dependent on where I lived at the time (in other words, availability of a school).

Sadly, for the last few years I've lived in a place where the nearest school of any kind is 3+ hours away (and they train on a weekday night 😭), so I'm kind of stuck just practicing on my own.
