A Gentle Autumn Breeze:
A gentle autumn breeze blew through my window and into my bedroom, chasing the last dregs of stale air out as I woke to a new day. I took a deep breath, the cool wind chilled me slightly, and I smirked.
I sat up in my bed, a thousand thoughts ran through my mind as I stared at the messy interior of my bedroom. Clothes were the primary issue, though the tissues that were strewn about the trash can a few steps away from the foot of the bed didn't help matters, along with the various bits of detritus that somehow naturally accumulated, I guess saying it was a mess was an understatement.
I cast my eyes to the relatively sparse furniture I had, mostly plastic shelving that played host to a varying assortment of knick-knacks, items of spiritual significance to me, my small assortment of gaming systems- bought second-hand or outright given to me- and of course, my computer sat right at the head-edge of my bed.
I ignored the walk-in closet, I didn't even want to think about that.

The spirits whisper around me, their silk-like words wrapped around my heart,
drifting, unsure of the darkness surrounding, my eyes are closed;
The cool waters of night embrace me, the star's sorrowful tears falling,
a single question above me, I feared the reality that it posed.
A gentle hand, embracing mine tightly, I look to see my friend,
a form I know well, his smile welcoming, yet sorrowful;
No words need be spoken, now is a time past goodbyes,
above the stars we glide, his song to me is mournful.
No recollection greets me, pain and suffering flee,
yet still there is an ache, the knowledge lays heavily within;

Game of the Gods
Game of the Gods
I've started writing a story called Game of the Gods.
It follows Sora Erron, a cynical young man who finds a Multiplayer Online Game called Game of the Gods, whereupon he learns that literal Gods, three of them, are using it as a battleground.
He soon finds himself caught up in it.
Due to deviantArt's rather draconian file requirements, I cannot simply upload an entire Part, eight chapters long each, not including the prologue, so they have to be released here in two or more parts, depending on the size of the part.
To me, this breaks up the flow of the narrative, as it is meant to be read one part at a time.
