D.A.E. - Draconia Griffin

First the dragon, next up is the Griffin. This one presented its own challenges compared to the European Dragon, but a few advantages, too.

Griffins in Draconia are modeled after corvids, i.e. crows and ravens, rather than the usual eagles and falcons. While it only has one pattern available at the moment, you can choose one of four beak shapes; I went with the larger, rounder one to serve as a stand-in for the mask. The throat feathers worked well enough for the flower, although the color area also extended to a patch under the eyes, so the tear marks were moved to the beak tip. The ears were all I could do for the leaf, and the wings, again, served as the flytrap collar. The front legs at least were able to be separately colored from the body, and there's an option to be tailless. Overall, not bad at all.
