It is time for another issue of TWENTY, the spotlight that features twenty great artists in deviantART.
Twice a month, we showcase 5 works by artists from all the realms of deviantART.   We will focus mainly on unknown artists within deviantART.
That way,  you will be able to see the talent that lies in the depths of deviantART.

Stay tuned for specialty issues of TWENTY, in which we will (among other things) dive into some of the galleries of deviantART that certainly hold the gold!

Without further ado, here is the art!

Ryu brings us some brilliant mixes of art including photo manipulation and some very interesting photography. Take a browse though his gallery and it’s sure to please!

Different, odd, crazy colours and amazing talent is the package you get when you view this deviants gallery! Each and every piece is thought provoking which is why you should most defiantly check out His gallery!

skeletons on trial? by yourliquidtangerine this is the sound murder makes by yourliquidtangerine   another seam pops by yourliquidtangerine   i loved everything... by yourliquidtangerine     sharingsun shine by yourliquidtangerine

It’s great to see such first-class quality art, which is defiantly what you will see when looking through Phenix-Land’s gallery. A great portfolio of traditional anime paintings with lots of bright colours and interesting scenarios.

4- :pointr: Giza
The art which giza creates has an amazing style that literally makes your jaw drop. His style and unique touch that you can see throughout all of his works are amazing.

:thumb5361500:      :thumb1834108:      :thumb13613547:      :thumb6050404:      :thumb14423345:

DinchtGirlie presents us with some excellent drawings of her own created anime characters. Each and every drawing has its personal style and look which catches the eye without a doubt.

AlfieAdams is quite a young photographer who manages to, among other things, capture ordinary objects in an extraordinary way.  Quite a gifted photographer here; his potential is quite high.

:thumb14021464:    Lying Dead by AlfieAdams    As i look down on myself by AlfieAdams     Bendy Man 2 by AlfieAdams   Robot Food Triptych by AlfieAdams

sinyx brings us a wide arrange of themes in her illustrations.  Her style remains true to the artist in every single deviation that adorns her gallery.

Owl Mystics by sinyx         Priestess by sinyx    America by sinyx   :thumb21609:       Peace by sinyx

mizarek has some rather interesting photography in his gallery.  They highlight simple elements like line, contrast, color, shape and form.  Variety is plenty in his works, which is quite a nice gift to have!

:thumb14180244:      :thumb14150577:      :thumb14150446:      :thumb13608248:      :thumb13245558:

artuitive mixes fantasy with surreal and then some more, resulting in quite a great gallery to visit.  His way with traditional media is certainly high quality and is sure to impress more than a few visitors.

Mural tragedy by artuitive Eurynome by artuitive Self Portrait as an Angry Man by artuitive       Flora Oil Painting by artuitive            Detatched by artuitive

tensai-riot is simply a well-balanced photographer.   His works range from photojournalism to nature and everything in between.  Don't be surprised to find a lot of unconventional photography in there!

bottle-of-fish shows great skill when it comes to illustrations.  It is great to see variety within her work, which includes caricatures, anime, and even science fiction.  Truly worth checking out!

      :thumb13657029:   :thumb3074107: :thumb14690746:  :thumb3458465:        :thumb12178642:

If you like prehistoric creatures, then chances are you will enjoy dustdevil's depictions.   There is a wide range of complexity in his works, which can go from extremely detailed art to relatively minimalist, yet beautiful artwork.

Cretaceous corrida by dustdevil       Camelops and Smilodon by dustdevil       Eocen turtles in environment by dustdevil       Polar fight by dustdevil       Scelidosaurus by dustdevil

It is hard to argue that, in a lot of cases, color is the primary factor when it comes to traditional media (or any kind of art for that matter).  The colors that NadiaNadege used jump out at the viewer immediately.  If these works look great on a computer screen, just imagine them on a canvas.

     :thumb14667627:      :thumb12532215:  :thumb14476765:     :thumb12583410:      :thumb13182556:

The female form dominates SensualArt's gallery.  His depictions are quite stylish, yet kept within a tasteful mood.  Add the skill with traditional media and you've got yourself a nice gallery.

15- :pointr: FoOLyS
It looks like we can't get enough illustrations for this issue of TWENTY, so we brought in FoOLyS.  Character design is often an artist's biggest challenge, and FoOLyS seems to have done a great job at this task.  As if that wasn't enough, you can find plenty of drawings and even some photography in his gallery.

DimeSpin contributes to this issue with some quality anthro artwork.  Plenty of original characters in her gallery, which is something extremely fresh for the genre.  Surely the technique greatly complements the ideas, and DimeSpin does a great job at combining the two.

Pablobellas is simply a great painter.  His capabilities with multiple media (including digital) are clearly a statement about this artist's skills.  A simple look at some of his works will clearly show that he is extremely versatile.

:thumb8939471:      :thumb9472806:      :thumb13338005:      :thumb12365230:      :thumb12614161:

The photography that titaanzink shares with us is breathtaking quite often.  A look at his gallery will reveal a lot of wonderful shots which include landscapes, portraits, and abstract.

19- :pointr: venomx
venomx is a digital artist who shares some impressive 3d skills, among others.  An enjoyable aspect of 3D work is the inability to tell the difference between reality and computer-generated.  Chances are you will experience this when visiting this deviant's gallery.

The End of Meeting by venomx       T r e e B i r d by venomx    Holtson Apple Juice - Updated by venomx       Digital Quartz III by venomx       The Rebirth Of Peer Nation by venomx

Closing this issue of TWENTY, here is profane, a varied artist that produces very thoughtful pieces of art.  The kind that makes you think for a while after looking at them. It's hard to find one of his works that doesn't immediately capture the eye.

And The Sky Bled Red by profane       Undone Passage by profane       T a s t e M e by profane       X V - D E V I L by profane       Red In My Head by profane

That is it for this issue! We hope you enjoyed it, and stay tuned for 100 more works from 20 artists in the next issue, coming out in 2 weeks.
If you have any questions about TWENTY, would like to suggest someone, or just plain general feedback, then you can also email us at (Please include links!).

What a surprise... no writers again. deviantart isnt about awarding or featuring writers here. and its no wonder its something they cant sell. Prints for Profit. Prints for profit. Dont mistake this for a personal grudge. Ive seen a pen tip full of featured writers in the past months here. If this group of twenty people showcases all works by artists from all the realms of deviantART.... and 'mainly all unkown artists'. (arnt we all) Wheres the word men/women? If this is intended to be a visual expo. say so. But some are here for EVERYTHING D Art has to offer. And most pay for it.

i would like to quote a paragraph that was written in issue X

"Before we begin, we'd like to address an issue that has been brought to our attention by a few members. The issue is the lack of literature in TWENTY. The explanation is quite simple: We feel more comfortable around visual artwork and trust that our friends over at *suture are better qualified to pick great literature from and for the community."
TheWritt Featured By Owner Feb 8, 2005
:devart: Note--- Its not my intent to undercut the artists featured in this TWENTY because they are all talented people. But I am speaking out, i guess you could say Protesting for Writer Rights...
