Guys, today is getting a rough day.

October is coming to the end by two week, but this time it's goanna be surprise.

First of all, get ready to heard this, you may never heard about spinosaurus aegypticus's long-backlimbs from according to Mark's news: markwitton-com.blogspot.hu/201… is back! This means Spinosaurus aegypticus is now back on his feet as real as "classic" dinosaur.

And it's not just any spinosaurus's backlimbs were good news, but another spinosaurid such as all we known this as Sigilmassasaurus brevicollis (meaning "Short-necked Reptile from Sijilmasa") has now valid genus and separated specie from Spinosaurus. As according to PJ's journal blog: peerj.com/articles/1323/  Spinosaurus morocannus were synonym to S. brevicollis along with Spinosaurus B, not to S. aegypticus.

So hope of you enjoy the news and thanks to grisador.deviantart.com/ for send me a news.

So you're saying that Spinosaurus aegypticus is a two-legger again?

Isn't the short-legged specimen Spinosaurus aegypticus and not maroccanus though? So Spinosaurus still has short legs? Since aegypticus is also found in Kem kem?

In any case the close relationship between Spinosaurus and Sigilmassasaurus could still imply that Spinosaurus had short legs.

So you don't agree with any of the points i made?

In any case further fossils are needed to clear things up.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves just yet. What we really need is another skeleton to better complete the picture.

frankly, i'm inclined to think that based on the autapomorphies shared, that the neotype is Spinosaurus. until another skeleton is found that is were i stand. I agree that Sigilmassasaurus exists too.

perhaps as Acepredator mentioned, there might be several Spinosaurines with short legs. we really need a good specimen of Oxalaia and Irritator. Maybe they can help solve the mystery.

You mean to say that the incarnation of Spinosaurus aegypticus from the BBC documentary "Planet Dinosaur" may be accurate after all?!

It could also be that both spinosaurines had short legs. the fact is, we don't know until we have better specimens.
