Superhero Profile: Mimette

I've decided to post some short profiles of my superhero/villain characters here, partly because I might want to do a project with them on occasion, and partly because I'd already done it with Candykate before.

Mimette is yet another result of the mysterious "Project ERYSS," the shadowy organization that creates superpowered female clones. Unlike her "sister" Candykate, Mimette was definitely viewed as a success; her powerful forcefields and ability to create invisible objects made her perfect for the battlefield, especially in a defensive role... the fact that she couldn't talk wasn't seen as a big problem, though her fondness for clowning around was a cause for concern.

At Project ERYSS, there were also girls who had been kidnapped from their normal lives and subject to strange and mysterious experiments to make them manifest latent superpowers. One of these girls was Pamela Hayden, whom Project ERYSS turned into the shapeshifting Miss Metamorph; an assignment from the supervillain The Partisan Nobody knows why, but when the Partisan came to take Miss Metamorph as his new slave/henchwoman, he also took Mimette. Maybe he saw potential in her, or maybe he just found her cute. Whatever the reason, Mimette soon found herself in a new life of crime... though when she proved to be too erratic and wild to make a good underling, and too soft-hearted to make a good villain, she was quickly hypnotized and made into a mind-controlled slave like Miss Metamorph.

Eventually, both Miss Metamorph and Mimette were rescued by the superheroine Ermine, who was kind enough to help set up a civilian identity, for Mimette... now she was "Claudia Barrett," the mute cousin of Pamela Hayden. The two girls have remained close friends since then, and have gone into superheroing together, with "Mimette" and "Miss Metamorph" now being proper heroines and members of the Alliance of Super Chicks.

However... they don't know it, but they remain at least somewhat in the power of the Partisan. He can at any point mentally call for them, upon which they will fall into a trance and turn into the Irregular Twins, the Partisans loyal and mindless henchwomen...
