As the Jurassic World film trilogy will be (relatively) soon concluded with Jurassic World: Dominion, I thought I could share with you the result of a years-length writing project of mine, consisting in a novel-form reimagining of (mostly) the first Jurassic World film. This novel is divided into two books, The Edge of Chaos and The Fallen Kingdom, each being as long as the original Jurassic Park novel by Michael Crichton.
It isn’t meant to criticize the work done on the JW films but to offer fans and readers a longer alternative story with a more adult and darker tone. I develop further the reasons behind this undertaking in the PDF’s foreword section.
If you’re interested, I wish you a good and enjoyable experience.
I would really love to know your thoughts about it. Ask me anything and let me know if you want to know more details before starting the reading (things like the list of species that appear in this story or the hypothetical casting for a part of the original characters I created). Constructive criticism is more than welcome.
Here is the synopsis of The Fallen Kingdom:
Mount Sibo has erupted and the chaos that the park’s staff and the Grey Guard had sought to contain is unleashed and threatens the survival of all on the island. As Jurassic World collapses in fire and blood, that twenty thousand people wait to be evacuated and that the threat of the Indominus still lingers, the unveiling of a plot risk of worsening the disaster by starting a conflict among men already spoiled by adversity and making Isla Nublar fall further into the darkness.
