OBJ - Canned soft drink megapack for XPS (REM) by DigitalExplorations OBJ - Canned soft drink megapack for XPS (REM) by DigitalExplorations
Today I am celebrating the impending publication of my latest book, The Hunt for Resident Evil 1.5, by doing something I said I'd wouldn't do anymore:  I'm releasing free models for XNALara XPS.

This is a canned soft drink megapack for XPS use.  It contains 43 different soft drink cans with unique labels (although some might be of the same brand), 1 canned tea can, 3 generic brand "freezer pak" boxes," and 3 "joke" soft drink cans.  Hopefully there's enough variety in here for everyone ... but if there isn't, I also included a blank template so you can make your own canned soft drinks.  Just paste the label you want into the yellow area on the blank label, then use the XPS material editor to swap out the label.  Voila!  Now you can "can" your own soft drinks too!

The base can model itself is a bit low-end, but that'll save you precious polys and verts for those high-end character models you'll probably be using these with.  You can always take my can label template and double its resolution, if you want a sharper looking label. (grin-and-wink)

This started out as a simple port of one of the old GMOD Soft Drink Packs, but as you can see I kinda went overboard with it.  (grin)  I added some canned drinks from other games, and then I started making my own custom canned drinks, and after that ... well ... you know.  Anyhow, everybody can use soft drinks in their various projects, right?  Of course right!

These are in OBJ format but will work with XPS -- which means they should easily port into other posing software such as Poser, Daz Studio, etc.  Port away!  You have my full permission to do so.

Please use, share, and enjoy -- and if want me to add more variety, send me your custom can labels!

HINT - You can use the Scale function, as well as the Size button and sliders, if you need to change a can's size.  Making them a little taller (Y-axis slider) will give you a 16 oz. can, for example.  Jolt Cola is only sold in 16 oz. cans where I live, but it used to be available in in 12 oz. too.  Tweaking both properly will give you the massive "tallboy" can, like the one used for Arizona brand canned fruit juices and certain canned liquors.  And so on ....
