We are here to promote each other's work and get exposure. But please keep in mind that your art style may not appeal to us or it somehow breaks the rules - in this case we have the right to decline your work.
NO advertising on the front page!!!
If you want to advertise your journals or art - check below the donations info FOLDERS EXPLAINED Featured
- For the best art chosen by admins, selected from your submissions or from around DA.
Every member can submit ONE artwork per month. If declined without giving a reason - resubmit to any of the normal folders. Paintings, Drawings and Sketches
For art created through the use of digital software and tools that simulate traditional drawings & paintings; a two dimensional presentation of a character, object or scene.
The old division of Paintings and Drawings folders has been replaced with one uniform folder that follows the official DA category. Film and Animation
For animated deviations or film work (but not for still artworks derived from movies). This folder needs movement. 3D art
Any art created using 3D software. Photomanipulation and Retouch
Photomanipulations are art that is using two or more photographic elements and piecing them together to create a new composition. It is a more extensive process than retouching (which only involves changes to a single photograph). Vector, Vexel and Pixel
For art created using vector illustration software programs, such as Adobe Illustrator, Freehand, and Corel Draw, among others. Vector images are made up of paths, each being made up of a mathematical formula (vector) that provides the path with the information on how it is to be shaped, what color it is filled with, and what the border color is. Also for Vexel art - created in a raster based program like Photoshop in the style of a Vector that consists of shapes. Fractal
For fractals; shapes or sets characterized by self affinity and an infinite amount of detail, at all scales. Mixed Media
Is meant to hold deviations that have been created using at least two digital art forms: Drawings & Paintings, Photomanipulation, 3-Dimensional, Fractals, Vectors, and Vexels. There is a misconception that this category is meant for artworks combining traditional and digital elements. However, this is not true. Commissions
Only for finished commissioned artworks. Adoptable
For the trendy adoptables art. Please keep in mind they are subject to quality check and only neat looking finished characters will be accepted.
We now have a donations account for the group. As you may know there is an option of upgrading to SUPER
