Group FAQ

Q: How do I join the group?

A: You click on the "join the group" option on the main group page and you will be automatically accepted.

Q: How do I leave the group?

A: We are really sorry if you want to leave the group. But if you want to leave, go to the main page and click on your name in the top left side and then you click "leave this group".

Q: Why didn't you accept my deviation?

A: There are numerous things that could lead to why it was declined. These are the main ones:

- You submitted to the incorrect folder

- The work was unfinished. We do not accept lineart. Only complete work.

- If it was a Photomanipulation: you did not credit all the stock used or didn't use credible stock sources.

- The work contained offending material (e.g. racism etc).

- The work was a Photograph. The group does not accept photography.

- It was a Traditional piece. This is a Digital art group.

Q: Why don't you accept my deviation 1?

A: We are really sorry but sometimes we get backlogs. Please respect that we work as much as we can but we have a life outside of DeviantART as well. But if you have waited more than 2 weeks please withdraw it and resubmit, we may have missed it.

Q: Why don't you accept my deviation 2?

A: We get a lot of complaints from members that have got a deviation denied and think they are a lot better than others that got accepted. We do not judge on quality so there will be a reason why it was declined.
Your deviation needs to get 2 yes to get accepted or 2 no's to be denied. Please don't be offended by it.

Q: My deviation has been rejected without a comment. Why?

A: We don't comment on deviations that have been submitted to the wrong folder anymore. Submit it again and make sure you submit to the right folder.

Q: What's the difference between Digital Paintings and Drawings 9.0, 8.0, 7.0, 6.0 and so on?

A: No difference at all, just that the folders before are full up to the limit.
dA have a limit of 5000 deviations in each folder. Submit to the one that is available to you.

Q: What should I do if I submit a deviation to the wrong folder?

A: If we haven't already voted on it yet you can withdraw it in your "Correspondence items" and upload it again. If we already voted, you need to wait depending if you have gone over your limit of 2 a month.
