TL;DR: I draw things and stuff for fun.

I'm primarily a self taught artist, and have been drawing seriously since 2014.

I enjoy painting artwork that can tell a story with some world building elements.

I took an interest in art and illustration when I was about 6, with Bob Ross as my first true inspiration at the age of 9. The only formal training I've had were a basic illustration and graphic design class as part of a 3D Modeling and Rendering degree. At the time, it was the only degree that was the closest thing to what I wanted to do, which is to create characters.

After completing my degree, I still found that my 2D illustration skill set was severely lacking. I refocused my efforts to improve them, and ended up loving it more than 3D.

It has been many years since I finished school, and I'm still learning new things. Being on Deviant Art has helped me improve and discover other artists with skills far above my own. Artists who have influenced me the most on Deviant Art are Stanley Lau (Artgerm)Stanley Lau (Artgerm), Gonzalo Ordóñez Arias (Genzoman)Gonzalo Ordóñez Arias (Genzoman), Landy Andria (Jiyu-Kaze)Landy Andria (Jiyu-Kaze), Kienan Lafferty (KNKL), Omar Dogan (Omar-Dogan)Omar Dogan (Omar-Dogan), Paul Kwon (Zeronis)Paul Kwon (Zeronis) and Sakimichan. I do my best to learn from them and other artists and adopt their philosophies and sensibilities in order to continually grow and improve my own art. It is a never ending journey that I'm more than glad to be on.
