With my 18 x 24 stipple project out of the way, I can now finally hit up the ol' grind and resume with my stipple project. With this upcoming wave of new stuffs, I'm going to change up the style here and there, I'm going to do less black line work stipples and focus more on colors from this point on. It's going to be a tough road ahead with a new technique and including color to the right places. Sure they'll be times where I'll just willy-nilly and do whatever that comes to mind, but now I have to focus on practicing.
I'll be posting the 18 x 24 soon when I have the right lighting and a better camera (rather than a camera phone).
My first 18 by 24 stipple project. Never completed one this lengthy before. Anyways, this particular project will be done in my smallest size pen I currently have at my disposal, the fun-sized 005 Ultra Fine. There's a twist! It's not a regular standard issued Sharpie, this is a Prismacolor, it has a more glossy look than a regular Sharpie. Plus, no bleedthrough. How can it get any more better than this?
First, before I get started, I'll have to finish my upcoming piece of my three favorite all-time characters. It will be uploaded soon.
So, this place is starting to capture my attention. Now that I have something to offer to the table, I'll be getting starting on my works. Gotta love those ultra fine sharpies, where would I be without them? Not here, that's for sure. Buckle up and stay comfortable, this ride is not going to end soon.
