Superboy's "big brother". Lar Gand is the from the planet Daxam, who's species is weak against lead like Kryptonians are weak against kryptonite. He got lead poisoning and was put into the Phantom Zone for 1000 years, until finally rescued by Brainiac Five and the Legion of Super-Heroes.
