I have been searching for a while to see what kind of gifts a photographer would want to receive for the holiday season and the list is quite endless. These gifts don't have to be expensive photography materials (because we all know photography equipment can sometimes go a little over budget). As long as you think of the person that's receiving them, think about their likes/dislikes, you can come up with a personalized present that would make them happy. And why not buy something for the photographer in you? Because you certainly deserve it for all the hard work you accomplished this year.
This article is split into two different parts: the gifts that you could create, or the gifts that you could buy. Let's start!

DIY Photo Blocks

It's really a pleasant surprise when we have a physical photograph to display as a decoration. We all have our hard drives full of images, but it really makes a difference when you actually get to see them printed. So a nice gift would be some creative photo blocks. The receiver would be thrilled to see their favorite photos being a part of something that is created from the heart with a little bit of inspiration.

DIY Camera Pillow

This might be the perfect gift for the lazy photographer. Or for the photographer that owns a cat. Cats love pillows.

DIY House Lanterns

This might just be a great gift for someone who likes to shoot landscape photography or..abandoned houses. As well as displaying photographic work, they're also nice as a light decorations.

DIY Strap

I think this one is the easiest to create, because it requires an old bag and some inexpensive necklaces.

DIY Film Strip Glass Vase (or a box of choice)

This can be used as a decoration for the die-hard photographer but it can also be adapted for any box of your choice, hence making it a great storage for all the photography-related bits and bobs.
