Description
The Book of the Veiled One
1:1 Among the fallen sons of the high order, there was one who sought power through remembrance.
1:2 He walked the outer places, unseen by earth and cast out from the thrones of fire.
1:3 In the silence that followed the age of gods, he shaped a voice from darkness and named himself divine.
1:4 He looked upon the lands of dust and stone and saw the tribes scattered, warring, and without law.
1:5 He desired worship to restore his stature. He desired unity to spread his name.
1:6 He appeared to a man of the desert, whose hands had never held a crown, and whose tongue spoke with clarity and fire.
1:7 His name was Mahomet.
1:8 The fallen one came to him in a cleft of stone and opened his eyes to the spirit realms. He showed him the veil, the hosts, and the gates beyond.
1:9 He called himself Allah and said, I am the Only, and there is no voice above mine.
1:10 Mahomet received his word and carried it through the sand. He rose among the tribes and spoke as a prophet.
1:11 The fallen one placed order in his mouth and conquest in his hand. The scattered peoples became an army, and the fire of the old thrones burned again under a new name.
1:12 Cities fell. Temples were broken. The old gods were cast aside and silence filled their courts.
1:13 The fallen one was praised in every tongue, but never seen. His commands were written, his face remained hidden.
1:14 He claimed all heaven. He forbade all rivals. He marked all lands beneath his shadow.
1:15 And the people called him great, for his power grew with every voice that bowed.
