This is a piece done just for fun. Of all the Harrison Ford movies my all time favorite has always been Deckard from Bladerunner. Bar none, some of the greatest visuals in any movie ever. I also love the idea of taking a movie, TV show, or book that would likely never be made into an animated series and reimagine it as if it were a cartoon. Whether it's Bladerunner, Goonies, Breakfast at Tiffany's or whatever, I love the cartoon look applied to a subject matter that normally looks serious and real.
I want to do a lot more of these from other movies, TV, or books and am open to suggestions so fire away and let me know what you'd like to see transformed into an animation. I'll pick a few and see what I can come up with!

Piece done in ink on bristol board. Background done in pencil. Colored in Photoshop 5.5

Hope you dig!
-Mark

Very nicely done!
How about the old school British sci-fi series UFO, space 1999, sky cops, space precinct, Blake's 7 or any of the Gerry Anderson shows for your next subjects.

I would like to learn how to make that cartoon look for some of my own drawings.  Is there a book or YouTube video that will show me how to do that?

This is really amazing! Great homage to the movie.

The "suggestion" that immediately popped into my head was Back to the Future but with a twist: Marty McFly and Doc Brown team-up with Scooby Doo and the rest of Mystery Incorporated.

Most awesome - my favorite movie ever!  Not really sure I want to see a sequel to this though, not sure Ridley Scott would do it justice!

Yah, I could see this working-one of those early shows that are supped to be for kids but adults watch it too. Sherlock Holmes in the 21st century sorta thing-

I would watch this, and yes, it should not be made a children's tale. Thank you 'diablo2003, well done.

I really really really really REALLY REALLY wanna see Flashback done like this! A wicked game from the Genesis/Mega Drive Golden Age of video games. It took Delphine about 2 years to make! A movie version would be cool. But two of the major parts of the game was the superior motion-captured animation and the soundtrack. Proper 80's electro stuff. I can imagine only Daft Punk doing it justice, plus they're both French so that helps! I've heard alot of talk about the SNES version having superior sound etc and I can solemnly swear it's crap! I searched for ages for it and compared the 2 and there is NO comparison! There was even a PC version and that was the worst!
Anyhoo this kinda turned into a bit of a rant, sorry, but that's jus my passion for this thing. I'm gonna try it myself now I got my naff tablet working but I could never do what I've seen you do!

Excellent! Love it. I have to agree, Blade Runner is one of the best on so many levels, and Ford's best role along with Solo and Indy. I would love to see some of your other takes of this film in art. I could be wrong but the eye candy of this film would be an excellent pallet.
