Human-free Photomanip Contest
The point of this contest is to convey a complex vision without using a human/animal model and human references, resorting only to inanimate matter and flora.
(Please see below for exceptions.)

I hope everyone will enjoy this contest :love: I'm certainly hopeful and looking impatiently forward to first entries :giggle:

One more thing: there aren't any judges yet, except for me. If you are interested in judging, please contact me via note. I will select two or three persons. :) Nobody in jury can enter the contest.
I will post news article about the contest in a few days. :aww: This journal is early because for some obscure reason I wanted everything to start on 21st. :confused:

Rules

1. No human model stock allowed, neither as a whole nor as in part (hands, face, etc). It includes statues and other humanoid look-a-likes, i.e. angels, gods, etc. 'Stone' elements may be used as details.
2. No animal stock can be used in other manner than unimportant details.
3. Please note me for details! I understand that it would be hard to find completely human-free stock for i.e. architecture manips, but please talk to me before submiting such an entry.
4. I reserve the right to reject entries that do not meet these criteria.

5. Contest is open for the following categories: Photomanipulation and Digital Mixed Media.
6. Entry must be a new deviation, submited after February 21st. No early or late entries will be accepted.
7. Please link to this journal in your deviation's description.
8. Credit stock providers. Deviations without valid resource list will not be accepted.
9. Limit of 2 entries per deviant.

Real lifeHmm... I'm really bad at writing dA journals, ain't I? I kinda forgot (*facepalm*) to let you all know that I graduated. :XD: 3 weeks ago. Uhm. So... Anyone knows of a Devil May Cry group / club that accepts only original series fan art and none of the stuff for that steaming pile of turd that Capcom/NT is trying to sell as new DMC game ? I can't use regular search anymore without Bob popping up in the results. (Well, I could search for Nero, but. You know. Not giving up Dante yet.)I almost failed to post this entry btw. Dear dA,:thumb173090345:I greatly appreciate the fact that you made it even harder to read deviation title and author's notes and check deviation category. This it totally following your initial idea of reducing the importance of these elements, via moving them under the actual deviation (and collapsing a/n), so that we viewers have no idea what the artwork is called unless we take the effort to scroll down and check ourselves. Of course, who cares about what author has to say? I completely understand that you don't want us to read their commentary, which is likely to contain their thoughts and insights on creation processes and key clues ...
